Terms and Conditions of Sale

1.1 An order placed by on line the customer/purchaser using the online forms represents apurchase offermade to the Carlo Cattaneo – LIUC University to conclude a contract of sale, General conditions of Sale, specified below, which, through the electronic submission of the order form itself, the purchaser undertakes to respect in its dealings with LIUC.

Therefore, by submitting the order form electronically, the customer/purchaser declares that he/she is aware of and accepts the General Conditions of Sale, and has received the necessary information, which can be viewed on the website: https://www.liucshop.it.

The customer/purchaser undertakes to provide his/her company VAT number and/or Fiscal Code when filling out his/her personal details. If the customer/purchaser wishes to receive a sales invoice from LIUC, he/she must indicate this directly on the online form, prior to placing the order. Any request to issue an invoice after the order has been submitted will not be taken into consideration. Orders that have not been completed with the required data or that contain incorrect data will not be accepted or processed.

1.2 Upon receiving the order form in electronic format, LIUC shall send the customer/purchaser an Order Confirmation by e-mail containing the details of the order itself. A copy of the same e-mail will be sent to Promuovere S.r.l. in order to allow Promuovere S.r.l. to organise and manage the shipment of the product(s) indicated in the online order. The order will only be fulfilled if the sale price is paid in full by the customer/purchaser at the time the order is placed. Consequently, the non-payment of the sale price, or the lack of availability of the products in the warehouse, shall result in the automatic termination of the purchase contract, which shall be communicated to the customer/purchaser via e-mail, after which any amount already paid towards the sale price shall be refunded.

2.1 The characteristics of the products are those described on the website and indicated on the product information sheet. TuHowever, the customer/purchaser is aware that the images and colours of the products offered for sale on line may not correspond to their actual appearance and colours due to possible developments and changes made to the products, for which adequate notice will nevertheless be provided on the website or else due to the specific software browser utilised.

2.2 The prices of the products offered for sale and their delivery charges may be subject to change. The prices include the cost of packaging and VAT. The prices applied are those indicated on the website https://www.liucshop.it at the time the purchase order is placed by the customer/purchaser.

3.1 Shipping costs within Italy are borne by the customer/purchaser, and are indicated at the following link: https://www.liucshop.it//spedizioni.

3.2 If evident damage to the packaging is encountered, the customer/purchaser may accept the package “with reservation”, in which case the general rules of the transport regulations shall apply.

3.3 Shipping to LIUC – Cattaneo University is FREE OF CHARGE. The merchandise will be delivered to the Tower building’s reception desk on Thursday morning the week after the order is placed.

4.1 The product delivery times may change depending on stock availability, the need to order the requested products, the transport time frames and duration, and customs procedures. The delivery times normally range from 3 to 5 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product data sheet and/or Order Confirmation.

4.2 Promuovere s.r.l. will arrange for the unified shipment of all the products ordered as soon as they become available.

5.1 Upon placing the order, the payment of the sale price for the products and the relative shipping costs can be made via PayPal using a Visa or Mastercard credit card.

5.2 The payment information will be processed by LIUC for the purpose of completing the purchase process and issuing any refunds in the event of product returns, if either party should exercise the right of withdrawal, or if its processing is required to prevent and avoid the commission of fraud or to notify the Police and/or the Postal Police if such conduct is committed on or through the website https://www.liucshop.it.

6.1 If the customer/purchaser should wish to cancel or modify the purchase order, he/she may exercise this right within 24 hours of the date of purchase. In order to proceed with the cancellation or modification of the order, the customer/purchaser must fill out the specific form, which can be found at the following link:https://www.liucshop.it//annullamento-modifica-ordine.

The customer/purchaser will receive a Confirmation of their purchase order’s cancellation and/or modification, and information regarding the procedure for obtaining a refund of any amounts already paid.

7.1 In compliance with the regulatory provisions in force concerning consumer purchases, the customer/purchaser has the option to exercise the right of withdrawal from the sales contract, according to the procedures described below:
a) The request for withdrawal must be sent to LIUC within 14 (fourteen) business days of receiving the purchased products;
b) LIUC will reimburse the customer within 30 days of receiving the return, which must be sent, at the customer/purchaser’s expense, to:

8.1 The product may only be replaced in the event of a manufacturing defect, ascertained within the terms and according to the methods indicated in the general regulations on purchases and the specific regulations on online purchases, to which the parties shall refer.

9.1 The data controller for the data obtained via this website is the Carlo Cattaneo – LIUC University, located at no. 22 Corso Matteotti, Castellanza (VA), Italy. The data will be processed and stored exclusively for purposes relating to the purchase of goods online. The data controller will independently determine the data processing methods, as well as the protection and security procedures to be implemented in order to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data, in accordance with the legal provisions concerning the processing of personal data and, in particular, in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

The customer/purchaser is aware that certain items of data requested must be provided to Promuovere S.r.l. in order to allow for the conclusion of the agreement and the shipment and delivery of the purchased products. . 9.2 Both the Carlo Cattaneo – LIUC University, located at no. 22 C.so Matteotti, Castellanza (VA) Italy, and Promuovere S.r.l., located at no. 10 Via Piave, Monza (MB) Italy, will only record and store the customers’ personal data exclusively for the purposes set out in these General Conditions, and in accordance with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 and Legislative Decree 196/2003.

The personal data acquired will be processed in accordance with the current legal provisions, will not be sold or transferred abroad, and will not be disclosed to any third parties in any way, for any reason whatsoever, including for commercial and/or private purposes. If the customer/purchaser opts to receive the newsletter in order to obtain information about special offers, he/she can always request to have his/her data removed from the newsletter mailing list by sending a e-mail request to the following address: info@liucshop.it.

10.1 The General Terms and Conditions of Sale specified herein are governed by Italian law and, in particular, by Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005 concerning the reorganisation of the consumer protection regulations, by the Italian Civil Code, with specific regard to the regulations on distance contracts, and by Legislative Decree no. 70 of 9 April 2003 concerning e-commerce.

10.2 For any disputes arising from the application of these General Terms and Conditions of Salethe customer/purchaser understands and accepts that he/she must first seek Civil Commercial Mediation pursuant to Legislative Decree 28/2010, and that, in the event of a failure to reach a negotiated agreement, the Law Courts of Busto Arsizio shall have exclusive jurisdiction over the matter.
